Home Based Services

Miles Institute of Integral Living provides home based services, meaning we provide most services either at your place of residence or in the community. Let me tell you a few reasons why.
1. It's more comfortable and convenient for most people to not have to travel to and from an appointment.
2. There are fewer reasons to miss an appointment if you're at home. If you're already at your place of natural comfort you're more likely to feel better about meeting.
3. Sometimes the weather sucks and you don't wanna go anywhere.
4. It is important to see the Person in their Environment; Their natural habitat so to speak. Homes are often the place where people are their most proud and where they display their greatest challenges.
5. Your home can be incorporated into your therapy including the physical environment and the members of the home. Healing happens integrally both with and because of ourselves and our relationships.
6. Privacy. You never have to wait in a waiting room or be seen by anyone traveling to or from therapy.
